Raise your hand if you’ve opened socials, started at the cursor for like, 10 minutes, and closed the app without posting anything.
Same.
The good news? You don’t have to reinvent your marketing every week and there’s a sh!t ton of rando/weird and fun holidays literally every day of the year. Sometimes all you need are a few solid prompts to get the ideas flowing. So – here are 10 things you can post before July is over:
1. A summer BTS
People love seeing how you work. Show your desk, your fav. coffee shop, your home, sketchbook, dog – whatever.
Prompt: What does a normal workday look like for you this summer?
2. Give away something helpful
July 15 is National Give Something Away Day, so give something away for funsies! Don’t overthink it. It doesn’t have to be huge to be valuable. Just think quick wins for your audience.
3. Share your current favs
People buy from people – share what you’re currently loving whether it’s a coffee order, podcast, business tool (great for affiliate!), book, or a playlist.
4. Tell the story behind your biz
Instead of explaining what you do, try explaining why you do it. Where did the name come from? Your favorite client story? Why you started?
5. Share an ‘unpopular opinion’
What’s something in your industry you disagree with? For me – not every business needs a rebrand, personal branding costs more than business branding and Canva is a great tool.
6. Do a mid-year check in.
July 20th is mid year, it’s also friends day, global hug your kids day, national fortune cookie day, international boombox day, national moon day, national lollipop day, space exploration day, world jump day. Pick one and have fun!
7. Celebrate a client win
Instead of simply posting a testimonial, talk about what went behind the work, what it solved, how the product helped, what changed – what’s the before and after? Share the transformation.
8. Answer an FAQ
Turn it into a carousel, reel, story, blog. If one person is asking, I’d bet my left tit another one has the same q.
9. Share what’s coming up
Take your audience BTS. what are you laucnhing, planning, learning? What sales are coming up?
10. Share a friendship
July 30th is International Day of Friendship, it’s also national cheescake day, chili dog day, father-in-law day, intern day… it’s share a hug day, too!
The Best Content Strategy Isn’t Posting More
It’s posting with intention.
If you’re constantly asking yourself, “What should I post today?” you’re already behind.
That’s exactly why I created my 90-Day Content Strategy.
Instead of scrambling for ideas every week, you’ll walk away with three months of content built around your goals, your audience, and your brand.
You’ll know:
- What to post
- Why you’re posting it
- How it supports your offers
- And how all of it works together to grow your business
Because the goal isn’t to post more. It’s to make every post count.
If you’re ready to stop winging your content and start marketing with a plan, let’s build your next 90 days together!
