I’m currently writing this on Sunday, July 2nd, linked up to the hotspot on my phone, feet on the dashboard, melting in a truck waiting at a gas station for Tom to deliver us some ice cream sandwich snacks for the remaining 30-40 minute drive to grandmas from the camper. This weekend started not so great. Friday I spent the day packing and cleaning the house for the weekend at the camper.
I honestly don’t really enjoy going and wonder why I go. Mostly for the girls, because they enjoy it there and want to share their fun with me.
I just typically don’t find a lot of rest there and I’ve learned that it’s okay to say no and just stay home. That I don’t have to go every single weekend.
This weekend had me thinking about some numbers. This quarter has me thinking about some numbers because Q2 was one of the hardest quarters I’ve had in my business.
In 7 Months I’ll be 36.
I’ve been a business owner for 4,414 days, 1 day and 1 month – aka, about 12 years.
I’ve been sober for 10 months.
I‘ve designed/helped build over 75 brands, all of which I love and adore.
It’s been a hot minute, but I was doing around 8 baby pull-ups where before that was almost impossible to think of doing.
I‘ve been a guest on four podcasts (SO COOL). One of these podcasts will air sometime in August… I think.
I’ve read over 20 books this year so far which feels fun. I missed reading.
In 4 weeks the girls will go to full/half day camps and I’m so excited to feel space that’s all mine in the house.
I’ve walked/ran 100 miles in 100 days so far this summer.
I’ve caught up paying myself this month from a very slow, dry and questionable Q2. Truly scraped the bottom of the barrel for 3 months to keep things afloat. Entrepreneurship is wild, man.
I’ve learned I’m apparently an enneagram 7w9.
What significant life and business ‘numbers’ are happening for you right now?
Reply and share!I would love to hear about them and get to know you better ‘by the numbers.’
