By abbreviating the ‘volume’ it mimicks the placement of text on the spine of a book. Underlining the Vol. II for emphasis and using gold lettering to resemble gold foil type on book covers.

Their business is about bringing people to South Dakota through the Air bnb's they manage and show how friendly and awesome South Dakota is. SoDak Stays is on a mission to put South Dakota on the map as a regular vacation spot.

As a live wedding painter she helps couples by guiding them and providing suggestions - laying out what their painting can look like and providing additional angles and letting them get the painting they’re envisioning. When working on their logo design we kept it simple and elementary - to reflect their name and their approach to how they help their people. Nothing complex, just showing up and getting to the basics.

Their logo includes the shape of a corn stalk and the shape of a cow’s head/silhouette to embody the land and livestock part of their business.

The inside of the eye are planets and stars that mimic the shape of the north star (dog star). The hands are for hands-on method, guiding and oracle readings.
